How to Install gmic software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gmic software package provides GREYCs Magic Image Converter, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gmic 

gmic is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gmic package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gmic *

You will get with gmic package name, version, architecture and description in a table
